Summary The primary role of the RGA Supervisor is to effectively oversee the operations of the RGA department and to develop a superior workforce. The Returned Goods Supervisor is responsible for driving the customer experience by effectively overseeing the Returned Goods team and overseeing the processing of returned goods. Under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager, this position is responsible for assisting department management in accomplishing the goals and objectives by managing the returned products process, customer return process, and delivery management. Responsibilities Oversees and takes an active role in all aspects of the Returns process in the organization Combine efforts with RGA Coordinator to maximize the efficiency and production of dealer return requests Coordinates timelines and works with Annual Return Coordinator to schedule returns efficiently Works with Warehouse management to resolve inventory inconsistencies Monitors warehouse (RGA department) to ensure efficiency in warehouse and to provide assistance as needed Responsible for obtaining temporary assistance for RGA receiver Engages Dealers/Customers by phone and email to answer questions, address concerns and provide timely updates on all accepted RGA requests. Addresses all Dealer/Customers challenges on denied or partially denied applications in accordance with company policy. Reviews damage reports and discrepancies from the RGA receiving processor in the warehouse; works with management to develop a resolution, then presents resolution to Dealer. Contributes to the improvement of returns processes, communication with Dealers/Customers and returns policy by evaluating trends and preparing reports for management RGA Supervisor will be contacted about Annual Return RGA(s) when there is a discrepancy found during processing of parts. RGA Supervisor will address these issues with Dealer/Customers and determine timely disposition.
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
Effective communication skills dealing with adverse customer situations. Proficient organization skills to maintain documents, communication logs, and decisions. 1-2 years of supervisory experience of team activities Must be proficient in SAP transactions required for processing returns. Situational awareness in applying logical reasoning to situations requiring additional consideration and remain objective Demonstrates empathy with Dealers/Customers Must be capable of task oriented in high-volume transaction environment Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills Education and/or
Experience:
Associate’s degree or study in relevant field or industry; or 1-2 years equivalent work experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
