POSITION:
Insurance Clerk/ Billing Specialist
DEPARTMENT
Business Office HOURS:
Full Time M – F 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
JOB SUMMARY
Submits claims to insurance payors accurately and timely. Other duties include billing secondary insurance, making claims corrections on the MIDAS system, maintaining the Medicare/Medicaid bad debt logs, and working electronic insurance rejections.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate, college preferred. Previous experience with insurance companies, hospital patient accounts or registration. Knowledge of insurance billing, coding processes, claims filing preferred.
