SUMMARY/ OBJECTIVE

The Billing Specialist is responsible for the review, analysis and billing functions related to a variety of projects. This position will work directly with internal branch offices daily as well as external customers as necessary. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures timely and accurate processing of daily work tickets to invoice/bill Customers.
• Communicates effectively with internal company contacts as well as external contacts, including Customers.
• Develops and maintains positive, timely and professional working relationships.
• Other general accounting duties and projects, as assigned.
• General clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, sending out invoices and assisting customers are required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

No personnel supervision required EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable Proficiency with financial software – Sage a plus Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures including accrual based accounting and internal control. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel Ability to work efficiently independently as well as part of a team.
