The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with clients and debtors. This role requires proficiency and experience in debt collections and supervising collectors. The Collection Manager will play a key role in streamlining processes and enhancing the efficiency of our collections operations. Responsibilities Manage the collections process for outstanding accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Conduct account analysis to identify delinquent accounts and develop strategies for collection. Oversee the reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Utilize accounting software to track payments, generate reports, and maintain accurate records of all transactions. Communicate effectively with debtors via phone and email to resolve payment issues while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Train, manage and oversee collection agents. Train and mentor team members on best practices in collections and account management. Qualifications Proven experience in collections and managing collection agents Strong understanding of account analysis, account reconciliation, debits, credits, and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software is essential for managing collections efficiently. Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette to maintain positive client relationships. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts effectively. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
