Description:
Plans, coordinates implements and monitors activities that produces an increase in cash collections for the unit. Responsible for the daily coordination and monitoring of collectors work events in order to maximize and expect the accurate recovery of funds. Is also responsible for the identification of issues both internal and external that impede the collection process. Estimated salary range for this position is $55952.22 – $72737.89 / year depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Degrees:
High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
Additional Qualifications:
AA degree preferred or a minimum of 10 years business office experience with at least 4 years in a supervisory level. Proficient in the interpretation of contracts.
Knowledge and understanding:
Medical terminology, explanation of benefits, different payment methodologies. Correct Coding Initiative ; revenue codes, DRG guidelines, ICD9, CPT4 and HCPCS codes. Experience in complex reporting strategies including stratification. Quality improvements tools and procedures. Word, Excel, Power point a must. Extensive analytical and critical thinking.
