Manager, Collections Service Salary Range:
$39.90/Hr.

Sarasota Memorial Healthcare System This leader has operational accountability and oversight, and manages the daily activities of Collections Service, as well as , directing and controlling all aspects of hospital collections, recoveries and customer service. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals. Required Qualifications Require a Bachelor’s degree in related field. Master’s degree is preferred. Require three (3) years of prior management experience. Preferred Qualifications Prefer five (5) years of hospital billing or patient accounting experience. Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem solving expertise. Prefer Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) certification. Prefer demonstrated knowledge of industry standard operating procedures to include familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations. Prefer demonstrated knowledge of diagnosis and procedural coding, hospital coding experience. Prefer demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations in a diplomatic manner. Prefer demonstrated computer skills in commonly used applications. Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork and site/cost-center based management. Prefer demonstrated skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels. Prefer demonstrated ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution.
