Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Credit & Collections Manager to join our team in Nashua, New Hampshire. This is a long-term contract opportunity where you will play a key role in managing accounts receivable processes and ensuring accurate reconciliation of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee customer account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage invoice and payment reconciliation processes to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Address and resolve historical billing issues to improve clarity and facilitate timely payments.
- Collaborate with personnel across various departments to gather necessary information and resolve account-related concerns.
- Utilize accounting software systems and CRM tools to streamline accounts receivable processes.
- Monitor and manage cash applications and activity to maintain proper account balances.
- Conduct detailed analysis of AR data to identify patterns and implement solutions for improved efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards in all credit and collections activities.
- Support B2B collections efforts to maintain positive customer relationships while meeting financial objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve billing functions and enhance system integration. Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit and collections management or related roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems, including 3M and ADP Financial Services.
- Strong knowledge of CRM tools and their application in managing accounts receivable.
- Demonstrated expertise in B2B collections and cash application processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of resolving complex billing issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Solid understanding of accounting functions and accounts receivable operations.
- Familiarity with billing and reconciliation processes to ensure financial accuracy.
