Job Summary The Director, Treasury & Collections will oversee and manage the company’s cash flow, the collection of outstanding debts, monitor liquidity, and manage banking relationships and financial risk. Director, Treasury & Collections plays a critical role in ensuring that the company maintains adequate liquidity by managing and monitoring customer collections by a decentralized collections team. Key Responsibilities Treasury Oversee forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs and funds available. Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements. Mitigate financial risks related to the currency and interest rates on the company’s cash flows and borrowings. Advise management on the liquidity aspects of short- and long-range planning. Maintain all banking relationships ensuring strong communications with banks and other financial service providers. Develop treasury reporting dashboards appropriate for various stakeholders and track KPIs. Oversee daily cash positioning activities including managing daily liquidity, cash position reconciliation and bank reporting. Enhance and manage the regional and home office direct cash flow forecasting process. In conjunction with private equity sponsors and senior management, manage capital market efforts that allow for efficient capital structure and enable growth. Monitor debt covenant compliance and prepare related calculations and certificates, in accordance with debt agreements. Develop performance monitoring of service providers including third-party managers, trustees and custodians. Monitor banking and credit card programs and identify opportunities for cost savings. Assist with setting up new checking, lockbox and merchant processing accounts for new business partners and manage accounts once in operation. Collections Ensure compliance with the customer terms and collections policy across a decentralized collections team and assist with the implementation of policies for new business partners. Create weekly reporting and work with business partners to reconcile cash collected vs reported collections. Assist business partners with collection of past due accounts and other collections related inquiries. Assists with cash monitoring and management, including updating cash forecasting models. Manage a team of collections agents, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Monitor and analyze the performance of the collections team, implementing measures to improve productivity and success rates. Review and evaluate delinquent accounts, determining appropriate actions to be taken in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Communicate with customers regarding their outstanding debts, negotiating payment plans, settlements, or other resolutions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies. Other Duties Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures. Maintain positive relationships with customers, business partners and banks, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to collections and fees. Perform other duties as assigned.
