This position is responsible for performing the Salvage line and whole bird line CCP monitoring checks and assist in the salvaging process.

Job Synopsis:

This position is responsible for performing the CCP monitoring checks for the HACCP program. Specifically performing and recording temperature and fecal checks on salvage parts. Perform checks on IP, wash out, and airsac salvage vats. This position is responsible for knowing the procedures to salvage IP, washout, and gall birds. Therefore, one must be able to identify IP, airsac, gal, and washout deficiencies. This position is also responsible for performing presentation checks for the evisceration department as required in the

USDA NELS

guidelines. This position will also assist in salvaging birds on the salvage line as directed by the supervisor. This position must be able to lift seventy-pound tubs, and any other duties assigned by supervisor. In this position TM must be able to read, write and communicate materials. (Legible writing skills are required.) Must be able to perform simple math calculations with a calculator, and legible writing skills are required. Must be able to read materials, documents, and records of materials, etc. Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
