Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient entry of charges into our system while supporting essential business operations. This role requires precision, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with various departments and external vendors.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately input charges into the system related to healthcare and assisted living facilities, including services from external contractors such as labs, pharmacies, medical diagnostics, and therapies.
  • Review vendor invoices and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy before forwarding them to accounts payable and external vendors.
  • Recalculate totals for vendor services as needed and prepare revised invoices for appropriate distribution.
  • Support the revenue management team by completing assigned tasks from the Revenue Manager and Vice President of Revenue Management.
  • Uphold organizational values and principles in all interactions and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with the organization’s Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, maintaining ethical standards and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain organized records and files to support efficient business operations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address discrepancies and resolve issues.
  • Perform calculations and data analysis as needed to support accurate charge entries. Requirements
  • Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with medical billing, charge entry, and accounts payable processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage files and records efficiently.
  • Competence in Microsoft Excel and Word for document preparation and data analysis.
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency in 10-key data entry.
  • Ability to perform calculations and handle numerical data effectively.
  • Experience in customer service and email correspondence.
  • Knowledge of scanning and electronic document management systems.
