The Data Entry position enters customer orders by inputting alphabetic and numeric information into a computer system on a keyboard. This is a full-time position with normal days being Monday through Friday, from 8:00am – 4:30pm.

The starting pay is $17/hr. This is an on-site position in our Fort Lauderdale Optical Lab You must be able to type 40 WPM with an Accuracy of 90%. Essential Functions include but are not limited to: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Enters customer and account data according to computer screen format. Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures. Know the follow up procedure associated with obtaining any missing data required for processing Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Education, Skills & Experience Must have excellent computer skills and working knowledge of standard computer equipment. Must have the ability to work/type fast and efficiently. Must be Organized, Confidential, and Thorough Work Environment This position operates mostly in an office setting located adjacent to an optical laboratory. This position requires working in close proximity to a diverse group of co-workers.
