Purchasing & Data Entry Clerk SGF Global Plantation, FL 33322
Data Entry and Purchasing Clerk I Location:
Plantation, FL Schedule:
Part-Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (4 hours/day, 20 hours/week; hours may increase)
Engagement Type:
Temporary to Hire (6 months to hire)

$21.50/hour

Onsite Job Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to support data entry and purchasing operations. This role requires accuracy, initiative, and the ability to coordinate effectively between suppliers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare purchase orders based on approved quotes Request and analyze vendor and distributor quotations Purchase materials and supplies according to internal guidelines Maintain and prepare parts for shipment to the EMS factory Receive and log invoices into the iProcurement system Operate data entry equipment (keyboard, etc.) to input and verify data Handle routine transactions in compliance with established procedures Monitor and manage radio application service contracts
Special Responsibilities:
Perform lead-time tracking and reporting for Bill of Materials (BOM) parts Track and report BOM changes, comparing updates to previous versions Update costs and lead times accordingly Coordinate material availability between EMS factory and suppliers Analyze and correct delivery quotations and requisitions
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing materials and supplies Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Google web-based tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Docs) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
