THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE WITH THE OCCASIONAL IN-PERSON MEETING REQUIREMENT.
The Telecom Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining telecom-related data in company systems. This role ensures the integrity of data across various platforms, including billing and ticketing systems. The clerk will work closely with other teams to ensure smooth processing of telecom invoices and address any billing inquiries.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Input :
Accurately enter customer information, service details, and billing records into various telecom systems or databases. Download and save documents from telecom portals, maintaining portal login information in our system.
Billing :
Ensure timely and accurate processing of telecom billing data, including invoice creation and verification.
Data Reconciliation :
Cross-check records and reports to identify discrepancies in billing, usage, or service data, and resolve any issues promptly.
Customer Service Support :
Assist with customer data-related queries, such as billing discrepancies, account details, or service-related information.
Service Management :
Record changes to customer accounts, including upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, or new service activations.
Compliance & Quality Control :
Ensure that all data entry processes adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Collaboration :
Work with other departments to resolve billing errors and discrepancies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Quick Typing Skills :
Minimum of 45 WPM. Attention to
Detail :
Exceptional accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
Telecommunications Knowledge :
Familiarity with telecom services and industry terminology (e.g., mobile, internet, VoIP).
