Responsibilities:
Transfer data from paper and/or electronic format into computer files or medical records database systems Maintain spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes Verify data by comparing it to source documents Manage the retrieval of data from the source or electronic files as requested to Vendor Perform regular audits to ensure data preservation Additional duties requested by Director, as not listed
Qualifications:
Experience in data entry Strong knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.) Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA Compliance Basic understanding of Nextgen Practice Management System Basic understanding of Modernizing Medicine Practice Management and EMR system Strong attention to detail
