Position Overview:
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a detail-oriented Referral Data Entry Clerk to join their client’s dynamic team in Florida. This role is pivotal in ensuring that referral information is accurately entered and maintained within electronic health records (EHR) or database systems. The Referral Data Entry Clerk will play an integral role in supporting the referral and authorizations team, facilitating seamless coordination among providers, patients, and external specialists.
Responsibilities:
Accurately input referral data into internal systems or EHR.
Review and verify referral forms and documentation for completeness.
Communicate with staff to clarify missing or inaccurate information.
Track the status of referrals and update records as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and security of patient data in compliance with HIPAA.
Assist with basic administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, or faxing referral documents.
Provide general support to the referrals or medical records department as needed.
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 1st shift.
