Position Summary:
The Data Entry Clerk provides essential support to ensure smooth administrative operations by performing accurate and timely data entry across key business areas. This position assists with documentation related to payroll, procurement, expense tracking, and safety, while also supporting front desk coverage and office coordination as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and update records in databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems.
- Maintain data integrity by reviewing, verifying, and correcting information as needed.
- Assist in compiling and organizing documents, forms, and reports.
- Perform regular data clean-up, auditing, and cross-referencing tasks.
- Scan, upload, and manage electronic files in accordance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely entry and processing of information.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive or proprietary information.
- Provide general administrative support as assigned, including document filing, printing, and copying.
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with data entry software and standard office tools.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Dependable, professional, and discreet with confidential information.
- Capable of working independently and in a team setting.
- Accurate typing and data input skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and time management skills
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, and reaching in warehouse and yard environments.
- Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling paperwork.
- Occasional walking, standing, bending, or stooping.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds (e.g., office supplies, files).
- Visual acuity required for reviewing data, reports, and digital systems.
- May occasionally be required to drive (valid driver’s license may be needed
