Data Operations Specialist TUSK Practice Sales Charlotte, NC 28204 Role Summary TUSK Practice Sales is seeking a highly capable, detail-oriented Data & Lead Generation Specialist to own and execute all lifecycle marketing, prospecting, list-building, data enrichment, and CRM hygiene efforts. This role is responsible for identifying independent healthcare practice owners, cleaning and maintaining our CRM (HubSpot), and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our outreach data. You will play a critical role in fueling top-of-funnel growth by delivering verified, organized, and segmented lead data to both the marketing and sales teams. This high-impact, high-ownership position is ideal for someone with deep experience in lead sourcing, CRM optimization, and strategic data management. In addition to supporting prospecting and outreach initiatives, this role will lead the execution of all lifecycle marketing strategies—ensuring that our audience receives timely, relevant messaging based on their stage in the buyer journey. By maintaining clean data, managing segmentation, and building targeted workflows, you will directly influence lead generation, nurture efficiency, and overall conversion performance. Key Responsibilities Lifecycle Marketing Own the development and execution of lifecycle marketing workflows across email and SMS to guide prospects through the awareness, consideration, and decision stages of the buyer journey. Build and maintain segmentation logic in HubSpot to ensure prospects receive personalized messaging based on demographic attributes and engagement level. Collaborate with content and campaign teams to align marketing assets with lifecycle stages, ensuring relevant content (case studies, valuations, blog posts, webinars, etc.) is delivered at the right time to the right audience. Implement and refine lead scoring models that reflect prospect quality and engagement, helping sales prioritize high-intent leads and optimize outreach sequences. Track and report on key lifecycle metrics, such as conversion rates between stages, email/SMS engagement (open/click rates), and lead velocity. Audit and maintain CRM automation rules to ensure contacts are enrolled in the correct workflows, suppressions are properly applied, and outdated journeys are cleaned or updated regularly. Optimize send cadence, timing, and list quality to improve deliverability, reduce opt-outs, and increase marketing effectiveness.

List Building Prospect Sourcing:

Build verified lists of independently owned healthcare practices across the U.S., excluding PE-backed and affiliated practices.

Ownership Identification:

Use public databases, LinkedIn, and scraping tools to identify decision-makers (practice owners/founders).

List Segmentation:

Organize contacts using data points such as specialty, geography, practice size, ownership status, and engagement stage.

Internal Teams:

Assist cross-functional teams on building lists for outreach efforts for the sell-side and buy-side.

Address List Building:

Identify mailing addresses for qualified prospects and log in CRM for marketing and business development to reference. Identify all dermatology, dental, plastic surgery, and med spa practices with over $2M revenue in the U.S. and document their contact information in the CRM.

Data Hygiene Contact Enrichment:

Source and verify direct contact info (emails, phone numbers) using platforms like DSO DataConnect, ZoomInfo, RocketReach, and others.

Data Hygiene:

Regularly clean HubSpot records; correct naming, standardize fields, and update contact and deal properties with accurate information. Create Email and SMS lists of “only-qualified” practices for the firms marketing and business development team to utilize in outreach efforts. Required Background & Experience 3+ years in a data/ops role focused on lead generation, research, or CRM management (preferably in healthcare, marketing, or B2B sales) Strong experience with HubSpot (or similar CRM platforms) Hands-on with ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clearbit, or comparable tools Proven track record of building large, accurate prospect lists with validated contact info. Familiar with basic scraping, data cleaning (Excel, Google Sheets), and enrichment workflows.
