Role Overview:

Do you love spotting patterns, cleaning up chaos, and following a digital breadcrumb trail to discover how a sale was made? As a Marketing Data Operations Specialist at Everblue, you’ll be the go-to detective behind our digital performance.

Your mission:

track the full user journey, identify where we’re winning (or not), and maintain crystal-clear data across systems. From logging inbound leads to managing post-sale workflows, you’ll ensure the marketing engine runs smoothly and intelligently. We’re looking for someone who’s not only precise and reliable but also curious and strategic—someone who doesn’t just report the data, but •uses it•. If you have experience in pay-per-click advertising and SEO, even better—we want you to help shape how users find us in the first place. This is a full-time contract role with the potential to become permanent based on performance, business needs, and cultural fit.

Responsibilities:

Data Operations & Sales Journey Tracking (85%) Log daily inbound leads and track lead source (phone, live chat, email, etc.) Monitor and analyze the customer journey from first contact to purchase Identify time-to-sale, conversion bottlenecks, and touchpoints that matter Maintain CRM records and input customer data accurately for follow-up campaigns Generate and distribute monthly reports on sales performance, customer behavior, and lead quality Review post-course surveys, analyze customer service calls, and surface common pain points or opportunities Manage and update training event listings across the website, ensuring consistency in dates, locations, and pricing Remove expired courses from the website in a timely manner Keep a master spreadsheet of all active and past events to avoid duplication and errors

PPC, SEO

& Digital Optimization (15%) Manage and optimize PPC campaigns across Google, Bing, Meta, and LinkedIn Track paid ad performance, lead quality, and cost-per-acquisition metrics Update and optimize website content for SEO using tools like SEMrush and Google Search Console Provide recommendations to improve our digital footprint based on traffic and conversion insights Collaborate with the marketing manager on strategic campaign adjustments based on user behavior data

Requirements:

3+ years in a marketing operations or data analytics role Hands-on experience with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and spreadsheet/database tools Fierce attention to detail—like, you notice when a font is 1pt off Familiarity with customer journey mapping, attribution modeling, and lead lifecycle tracking Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and data visualization tools Experience with PPC platforms (Google, Bing, Meta, LinkedIn) and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console) Ability to manage multiple data streams and juggle competing priorities with poise Analytical mindset with a drive for solving problems and asking “why?”
