Summary:
This is a contract position supporting critical manufacturing operations through accurate and timely data transcription. The Data Entry Specialist plays a key role in ensuring data integrity and availability for internal and external consumers, enabling success across local and global manufacturing processes. This position supports the MSAT, Process Analytics, Process Validation, and Investigation teams.
Responsibilities:
Data Entry and Verification (80%) Accurately enter and verify large volumes of batch record data into Global Data Mart (GDM). Track and manage data entry workload, ensuring all necessary information is located and entered. Use and develop tools for workload tracking and management. Provide accurate and timely process data in support of daily monitoring and activities. Handle special data requests for collection, verification, and completion. Ensure all data entry procedures are up to date and align with system standards. Maintain 100% accuracy in all data entries—right first time. Process Understanding (5%) Develop a working knowledge of manufacturing processes and data collection relevance. Understand terminology, technology, and analytical tools used in process monitoring. Learn Statistica Enterprise Architecture to support system data collection creation and maintenance. User Support & Analytics Interaction (5%) Engage with data consumers to streamline data access and usability. Build trust in data systems by resolving entry-related issues. Observe user interactions with GDM and provide responsive support. Training and Compliance (10%) Follow all facility training and cGMP policies. Maintain up-to-date training compliance using systems like ComplianceWire and SAP Learning Portal.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. 0-3 years of biotech industry experience or similar data system exposure preferred. Strong computer skills required (Microsoft Office proficiency essential). Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Strong organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with cGMP and regulated environments preferred. Comfortable working independently with a high level of responsibility. Ability to adapt to varying shift schedules and workload demands.
Physical Conditions and Requirements:
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods while performing computer work. Must maintain focus and attention to detail in a repetitive task environment. May be required to wear standard office or cleanroom attire depending on work environment. #TM1
