Order/Data Entry Representative Job Description In this role, you will primarily work with specific customer accounts, focusing on maintaining strong relationships. You will handle customer service calls via phone, email, or fax, and answer inquiries such as shipment or billing questions. This position allows you to build great relationships and become familiar on a first-name basis with your customers. Responsibilities Maintain relationships with specific customer accounts. Handle customer service calls via phone, email, or fax. Answer questions regarding shipments and billing. Enter extensive data using computer software. Take and enter orders into the system. Essential Skills Proficient in customer service. Strong experience in MS Excel and Microsoft Office. Data entry using computer software. Experience with order taking and entry. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma. Work Environment Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling a 37.5-hour work week. The dress code is business casual. You will work in a small company with an open office layout, where everyone shares a large office space with individual desks. There is room for growth in terms of salary and responsibilities. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 – $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
