Job Description
Job Description (Remote): In this role, the desired candidate will express the ability to clearly and efficiently communicate and retrieve important information to update records. The ideal candidate will be a fast typist with a keen eye for detail and great organizational skills. Works well with customers and team members.
Job Requirements:
- Successfully complete company provided Locate training program and pass all required testing if applicable.
- Ability to use company provided equipment and technology to accurately capture data upon locate ticket creation
- Track responses via email and input data into company database.
- Ability to read maps, compare source data and work orders to determine locate needed.
- Use company issued computer to receive, document and email.
- Ability to work alone and unsupervised.
- Ability to communicate / interact daily with managers and crews, to discuss locate issues.
- Interpret job order tickets for accurate location and maintain accuracy of requests.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Experience in Data Entry/clerk/ receptionist/call center
- Proficient typing skills
- Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets
- Proven attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong command of the English language is required.
