Job Description

Data Entry Clerk
We are in the search for a dedicated Data Entry Clerk to be a part of our team located in Mt Pleasant, South Carolina. Being a part of the Import/Export industry, your role will primarily involve ensuring the accuracy of data entries and customer queries related to export documentation and contracts. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
  • Maintaining precise customer credit records
  • Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner
  • Auditing amendments and service contract processing to ensure accuracy
  • Regularly updating entries in the TMS
  • Identifying and correcting errors at various stages of checking and approval
  • Properly categorizing and recording all corrected and identified errors
  • Obtaining the necessary signatures from the relevant authority
  • Escalating complex or unique customer issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution.
  • Proficiency in 10 Key Skills is essential for efficient data input
  • Strong Customer Service abilities to handle client queries and build relationships
  • Experience in Data Entry, ensuring accurate and timely data input
  • Capability to handle Email Correspondence professionally and promptly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data sorting, filtering and calculations
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word for creating and editing documents
  • Ability to Organize Files systematically for easy retrieval and reference
  • Competency to Perform Calculations accurately, aiding in financial tasks
  • Experience in Scanning documents and converting them into digital format
