Insurance Verification Specialist Central Magnetic Imaging Margate 2800 North State Road 7, Margate, FL 33063 Summary As an Insurance Verification Specialist, you will be integral in ensuring accurate and timely verification of patient insurance information, contributing to the overall efficiency of our medical office. Reporting to the office manager, you will utilize your core skills in medical terminology and insurance verification, while your premium knowledge of managed care and coding will enhance our administrative support. Bilingual communication skills and strong organizational abilities will enable you to effectively assist patients and collaborate with healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and promoting a seamless patient experience. •Responsibilities•
Verifying Insurance Information:
Confirming patient insurance coverage for new and existing patients, including verifying policy details and eligibility.
Obtaining Pre-Authorizations:
Contacting insurance companies to obtain necessary pre-authorizations for medical procedures and services.
Updating Patient Records:
Maintaining accurate patient records with current insurance information and billing details.
Patient Communication:
Explaining patient financial responsibilities, answering insurance-related questions, and providing information about coverage and potential costs. Collaborating with

Working with billing staff to ensure accurate claims processing and efficient payment tracking.
Resolving Insurance Issues:
