Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager to support the Rebuild Florida Housing Repair and Replacement Program (HRRP), which helps homeowners recover from Hurricane Ian. In this applicant-facing role, you’ll guide applicants through the applicant process – from intake to eligibility assessment – while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining accurate case records.
Essential Functions:
Assist applicants with program applications, contract signings, and pre-construction meetings Assist applicants with application process from intake through project closeout Provide clear and empathetic communication to applicants on application status, next steps, and requirements Collect and review documentation for eligibility determinations Maintain accurate case records and notes in proprietary systems Interpret and apply program policies in decision-making Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues promptly Meet daily processing goals and program deadlines in a high-volume setting Adapt quickly to changes in program protocols, software, or timelines Deliver consistent and professional support to all stakeholders Work weekends or extended hours as needed Perform additional tasks and duties as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience in administrative, case management, or processing roles Strong customer service and communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry systems Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to travel locally as needed Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods Ability to operate a motor vehicle Work Environment Position is based on site in HORNE office Physical Demands (multi-select) Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Travel Requirements Driving for firm business possible; would require valid operator license, acceptable motor vehicle report and automobile insurance as required by law and firm guidelines HORNE Values… A forward thinking, anticipatory professional driven by a passion to pursue your full potential and dreams.
