Responsibilities:
Receive patient information, calls, and access carrier documentation resources Obtain insurance verifications and authorizations via phone, fax, or online programs Document eligibility and benefit details on verification forms Scan and record authorization information and patient eligibility and benefits Communicate with patients about out-of-pocket expenses, facilitating payment arrangements when needed Collaborate with staff to address eligibility and benefits-related issues Maintain detailed patient records in the computer system
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of insurance and benefit experience
