Job Description
Summary This position will be pivotal in driving the growth and success of the Entry-Level Nursing programs by effectively managing the recruitment and enrollment process. The individual will be responsible for active recruitment efforts to convert inquiries to enrolled students. The position will also collaborate with affiliate credentialing departments to maintain and monitor the required regulatory credentials of newly enrolled students to facilitate learner experiences at clinical sites. This position is in person.
Essential Functions Recruitment:
Work toward and achieve the program enrollment goals by participating in the planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring recruitment strategies. Respond to phone, e-mail, or in-person program inquiries. Maintain a prospective student database. Communicate information to prospective students about the program, admission requirements, and required credentials for enrollment. Coordinate and participate in campus events for prospects, accepted students, and other special interest groups to drive enrollment. Represent the program at virtual, local, statewide, and national recruitment events. Conduct various mail, e-mail, phone, virtual, and social media recruitment campaigns
Admissions:
Reviews and evaluates admissions documents, including academic transcripts, pre-requisite courses, GPA, and standardized entrance exam results, to determine if an applicant has met the program’s admission requirements criteria. Provide prospective students with information on the university and external resources available to support admission and enrollment to the program. Advise applicants on missing credentials and guide them throughout the admission process. Develop and implement a communication plan to support and facilitate the enrollment of applicants and prospective students. Plan and implement information sessions and outreach campaigns for applicants with incomplete credentials. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining information on the Centralized Application Systems (CAS) and student management software to ensure accuracy. Presents applicant files to the program admissions committee for review. Participates in the admissions committee’s review of applicants. Generates and distributes admission decision documents to students and other affiliates as needed.
Compliance Officer Role:
Manages a compliance program for all external affiliate requirements for student credentialing (program accreditation requirements, clinical affiliate accreditation requirements, regulatory background checks, health and drug screening). Advises admitted students on information regarding the compliance program for credentialing. Develop and implement a communication plan with admitted students to facilitate compliance with credentialing requirements. Participate in new student orientation to discuss and answer questions about the credential compliance program. Maintains a database and communicates with entry-level nursing students and their respective faculty, advisors, and clinical faculty regarding students’ compliance status. Provides compliance reports to the program director, faculty, and clinical affiliates upon request. Addresses student credentialing issues promptly upon consultation with the program director, faculty, and clinical affiliates. Maintains accurate credential database in student management and tracking software as required by regulatory agencies. Serves as the compliance liaison to external agencies, including clinical affiliates and credential management entities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related area from an accredited School is required. 3-5 years of relevant experience. 5-8 years of experience in Admissions, Recruitment, or Higher Education may substitute for the educational requirement. Advanced skills with MS Office, SalesForce, and Examsoft. Workday and Colleague experience is highly preferred. Must have excellent customer service skills and communication skills, verbal and written.
