Position Summary:

Bridgeway Center, Inc. (BCI) is seeking applicants who want to work in an outpatient setting for adults, children, family, Mental Health (MH) and Substance Abuse (SA) services. Applicants must be outgoing, like working with the public, and welcome BCIs clients cheerfully while providing superior customer service. Must have the ability to multi-task and always remain professional to ensure that each client walks away having had a positive and helpful therapeutic experience.

The Access Specialist is responsible for providing reception and administrative duties, which include greeting clients and other visitors, answering phones, and BCI answering inquiries. The Access Specialist demonstrates excellent customer service skills and professionalism when interacting with difficult clients/patients. The Access Specialist obtains client data and ensures that all information collected is accurate. This includes entering the information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) in a timely manner and updating established clients information as needed. The Access Specialist schedules and verifies routine client appointments, reschedule appointments as necessary, notifies clients/patients of previous balances, obtains daily schedules, and makes return client/patient appointments as necessary. The Access Specialist maintains strict client confidentiality, assists with all filing as needed, collects payment with cash or processes credit card payments for services, and provides receipts. The Access Specialist balances/reconciles their cash drawer daily.

Applicants must be outgoing and enjoy working with the public, professional, and para-professional team. Have the ability to collaborate and communicate with BCI departments and external stakeholders. Must be able to multi-task and remain professional at all times to ensure that each client has a positive and helpful therapeutic experience.
