THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION

•Currently seeking Medicaid Eligibility Specialist whose duties will include making outbound calls to hospital patients and screen for potential Medicaid eligibility according to state-based guidelines. Complete and submit appropriate screening application to our in-house Medicaid Coordination Manager. Ensure the patient understands the application process, ensure completeness, and follow-up with additional patient information requests when needed. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in Medicaid counseling, customer service and EPIC knowledge are required. HIGH VOLUME CALL EXPERIENCE

preferred Must have experience working with EPIC Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

Contact patients/guardian and screen for potential Medicaid Benefit eligibility according to state-based guidelines Complete and submit appropriate screening paperwork as needed Update Company management and hospital systems with comprehensive and detailed notes Benefits (Eligibility after 60 days): 401 (k) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Paid Time Off Vision Insurance 8 hour shift (M-F) 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
