Schedule:

Full-time, Monday•Friday, 9:00 AM•5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Compensation:

$20.00•$30.00 Based on experience Our client is seeking a Senior Credentialing Enrollment Specialist to join our client’s team and play a vital role in managing physician systems, applications, and credentialing for various physician groups and specialties. This position is crucial for maintaining accurate provider information, ensuring compliance, and supporting our contracting services. You’ll work closely with leadership, provide guidance to junior team members, and contribute to the development of efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Physician Credentialing & Systems:

Manage credentialing for primary care, specialist physicians, and mid-level providers. Maintain and update all credentialing systems (including Network Management and CAQH) with current information. Program applications to ensure accurate and complete physician data.

Data Management & Auditing:

Audit and analyze physician/provider credentialing records. Program Network Management applications to generate essential reports for data accuracy.

Communication & Collaboration:

Serve as a key communicator with physician/provider office staff, practice management, payers, and internal stakeholders regarding application status, required materials, and issue resolution. Participate in leadership meetings to present credentialing status.

Training & Mentoring:

Provide continuous training, coaching, and mentoring to Enrollment Specialists and the Ancillary Coordinator. Serve as a resource to other team members and assist in developing new policies and procedures.

Support & Project Work:

Support the Credentialing Manager and Director in resolving issues, auditing data, preparing amendment letters, and ensuring efficient processing of credentialing materials. Participate in special projects as assigned.

Compliance:

Ensure all credentialing efforts adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

What You’ll Bring:

Enrollment experience within a facility, urgent care, or hospital setting. Proficiency with CMS, MD Staff, Adobe Pro, and Excel. Strong understanding of payer credentialing nuances. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required:

4+ years of experience in healthcare, preferably in managed care, provider credentialing, patient financial services, or provider relations.

Required:

Typing 35 WPM, strong word processing, spreadsheet, email, and computer calendar experience. Detail-oriented with proficiency in Windows Applications and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field. 4+ years in healthcare or managed care.
