Job Summary:
The Nursing Credential & Records Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and processing student nursing licensure applications, uploading and maintaining student documents and transcripts, and managing facility-related needs of the campus location. This position coordinates credential and document support between the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the Registrar’s Office. The schedule is full-time and allows for a hybrid work week with a minimum of 2 days on-site in the Sandy Springs, GA area.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the College of Nursing for any specific licensure requirements related to student inquiries and supporting the Registrar’s office Assist nursing students with licensure application procedures, including providing guidance on necessary documentation and submission Process nursing licensure applications for students, ensuring timely submission and adherence to state requirements Organize/manage workshops for state licensure applications Support the Office of the Registrar in processing official transcripts and updates to student records Adhere to the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and university policies to maintain student data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality Perform administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and scanning documents Coordinate facility management tasks, ensuring campus space is well-maintained and adequately equipped The above functions are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this job. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience/training 1-2 years experience in a support role maintaining sensitive documents Proficiency in database management and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office/Google Suites, record-keeping systems) Ability to manage multiple tasks, work collaboratively and independently Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience working with protected/confidential documents or processes preferred Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
