Eligibility Clerk 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars Bossier City, LA 71111 As an Eligibility Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of eligibility and enrollment information for our client’s insurance coverage. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR benefits and administrative processes, coupled with excellent organizational and communication skills. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments. •
Responsibilities:
•Review and process eligibility and enrollment documents for accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with HR teams, clients, and insurance carriers to ensure accurate enrollment information. Verify and update employee records to reflect changes in benefits, status, and coverage. Assist with resolving eligibility-related inquiries and issues from clients and employees. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance plans, benefits, and eligibility requirements. Generate reports and maintain accurate records related to enrollment, eligibility, and benefits. Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to process improvements and suggest ways to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and meet deadlines. •
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Proven experience in HR benefits administration or a related field. Strong understanding of insurance plans, benefits, and eligibility criteria. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS software. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
