Admissions Specialist at Robert Half in New Gloucester, Maine, United States Job Description Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Admissions Specialist to join our team in New Gloucester, Maine. You will play a key part in assisting prospective students by providing information, answering inquiries, and guiding them through the admissions process. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries from prospective students and provide detailed information about admissions processes and program offerings.
- Guide applicants through the enrollment process, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to address recruitment questions and assist with next steps.
- Maintain accurate records in database systems and ensure data is up-to-date.
- Use Microsoft Office 365 to prepare reports, organize schedules, and manage communications.
- Assist with campus tours and events to promote the institution and engage with potential students.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for improving recruitment efforts.
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to applicants, families, and other stakeholders.
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence management. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with database applications.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Experience handling high volumes of inbound and outbound calls.
- Excellent organizational and data management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field is preferred.
