Eligibility Specialist I (IMC I) 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Hickory, NC 28658 JOB Catawba County Social Services is seeking an individual who can provide outstanding customer service, enjoys helping people from all walks of life, possesses strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, and who would thrive in a fast-paced environment for an Eligibility Specialist I (IMC I) position. In the Eligibility Specialist I position, you will provide front-facing customer service to citizens regarding the Economic Services programs, including interviewing and connecting them to appropriate services.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Interview walk-in clients to determine if eligible for expedited processing of benefitsResearch and updates in NCFAST database system, including entering of applications and recertificationsAnswer a large volume of incoming callsInvestigate and answer program specific inquiriesObtain appropriate paperwork from clientsMail forms and assist caseworkers with special projectsDistribute mail and reportsComplete and run reportsObtain documentation from Register of Deeds as needed
