POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT LICENSURE SPECIALIST
The North CarolinaBoard of Nursing is seeking applicants for the Licensure Specialistposition. The Licensure Specialist is responsible for supportingthe licensure and renewal processes for nurses in North Carolina.
This role ensures timely and accurate processing of applications,verifies compliance with licensure requirements, and providesexcellent customer service to applicants, licensees, and thepublic. Applicants must possess strong verbal and writtencommunication skills and the ability to deal courteously andprofessionally with the public in a prompt and efficient manner.
Position functions independently; applicants must be able toorganize work efficiently; demonstrate attention to details; andwork well in a multi-functional team environment. Applicants mustpossess strong critical thinking, sound judgment anddecision-making skills. Position requires proficiency in use of PC;strong word/data processing skills and ability to learn customsoftware.
Education and Experience:
Position requires an AssociateDegree and 2 years of client service, public contact experience; orequivalent combination of education/experience. Prior experience inregulation, health, or government setting preferred.
