JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Office of Graduate Admissions at Penn State Harrisburg is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Recruitment Specialist – Graduate Admissions and CRM Support to assist in recruitment and outreach. This part-time opening would be responsible for communication and outreach infrastructure through email campaign development, customer relationship management (CRM) system oversight, and light social media content creation.
Additionally, the candidate will coordinate timely, brand-consistent messaging across multiple channels to engage prospective students. This role ensures contact data accuracy, high-quality engagement, and effective promotion. Job Duties Manage customer relationship management (CRM) system and segmented contact lists across programs, ensuring up-to-date information and targeted outreach.
Collaborate with faculty across 23 graduate programs and certificate programs to develop email communications
Develop and schedule professional email campaigns, templates, and automation, and create visually engaging digital marketing content
Track analytics for email and social campaigns; recommend strategies to improve engagement and open/click rates
Research and curate relevant content such as news, success stories, and program highlights to share with prospects
Cross-reference CRM leads with other internal system data to accurately update prospect statuses
Assist in developing, scheduling, and running campaigns for online information sessions.
Requirements and Qualifications Requires a highly organized and collaborative self-starter with excellent customer service, communication, and marketing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CRM software systems
Familiarity with Penn State systems
Hours and Compensation
This is a part-time opening, expected to work 20 hours per week on a regular schedule with a competitive hourly wage
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check, and the National Sex Offender Registry Clearance (NSOR).Additional clearances may be necessary if you resided outside of Pennsylvania in the past five years.
