Chief Executive Officer (or Executive Team) Position Summary – Executive Assistant The Executive Assistant (EA) will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the CEO and CFO, acting as a strategic partner in keeping priorities aligned and operations running smoothly. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, discreet, and thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. From managing calendars and coordinating travel to preparing executive-level communications and handling confidential matters, the EA plays a critical role in maintaining momentum at the top. The ideal candidate is highly organized, anticipates needs before they arise, and communicates with confidence and professionalism. Experience within the cannabis industry—or another highly regulated field—is strongly preferred, as this role supports leaders navigating a complex, evolving landscape with agility and discretion. Build and develop high-performing teams across multiple departments Key Responsibilities Manage complex executive calendars, meeting logistics, and travel arrangements across multiple time zones Prepare, proofread, and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other sensitive documents Act as a point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders; manage communications with professionalism and confidentiality Organize and facilitate board meetings, including agenda preparation, meeting minutes, and follow-up coordination Support the execution of high-impact projects through research, documentation, and interdepartmental collaboration Maintain compliance tracking systems, including licenses, certifications, and regulatory documentation Assist with investor relations efforts, including scheduling, preparing materials, and managing digital data rooms Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity Process executive expense reports and assist with budget monitoring, invoice management, and vendor coordination Foster cross-functional communication and act as liaison between executive leadership and department heads when needed. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in an Executive Assistant or high-level administrative support role Industry experience in cannabis, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, legal, or other regulated sectors strongly preferred Familiarity with cannabis compliance and regulatory frameworks is a plus Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and tools such as Asana, Monday.com, or similar project management software Proven ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of professionalism in a fast-paced environment Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required Work Environment & Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday, with occasional evening or weekend availability based on executive scheduling needs Some travel may be required for meetings, company events, or industry conferences Arkanna Investments is an equal opportunity employer.
