This position will be located at 233 Main St. New Britain, CT 06051. Monday

  • Friday, 8:30AM-4:30PM.
Compensation Range:

The annual salary range for this position starts at $51,000. Compensation for each position is determined not only by years of relevant experience, education, and skills, but also by maintaining internal pay equity. CMHA also takes into consideration our benefits and paid time off package to provide a well-rounded and competitive approach to the applicant’s overall compensation.

Position Summary:

Reporting into the President & CEO, provides high-level administrative support to the C-Suite by implementing an organized, manageable and well-functioning office atmosphere to ensure confidential and timely handling of all executive functions.

Essential Responsibilities:

Supervises senior leadership administrative staff. Manages and maintains executives’ schedules by coordinating meetings and conferences. Attends Board meetings and other meetings to record and distribute minutes. Organizes travel arrangements and itineraries focusing on business needs and efficiency. Ensures executives are scheduled for networking opportunities maximizing executives’ productivity during events Analyzes industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to create insightful reports highlighting potential risks and opportunities to assist with strategic planning. Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and agency information when handling projects and providing support. Prepares invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software. Reads and analyzes incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution. Communicates directly, and on behalf of the President & CEO, with Board members, donors, and others, on matters related to the President & CEO’s programmatic initiatives. Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the President & CEO’s office and internal departments, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with CMHA employees. Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails. Prepares responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries. Files and retrieves corporate documents, records, reports and licensing applications. Greets visitors and determines whether they should be given access to specific individuals. Distributes business agreements to appropriate parties to ensure confidentiality. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred in business, communications, or a related field. Minimum of three (3) years successful experience in Executive office setting, or five (5) years in general office setting, providing administrative support. Valid CT Drivers License.
