Essential Functions We are seeking an Executive Assistant that will perform more than administrative tasks; the individual will often be the “right-hand person” to advance company initiatives and goals. They will attend to the day-to-day functions that are part of the Chief Executive Officer’s role so that the executive can focus on the high-level leadership and strategy functions. Manage scheduling for company Chief Executive Officer and other executives Draft, review and send communications on behalf of company executives Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings Answer and respond to phone calls, communicate messages and information to the executives Prioritize emails and respond when necessary Coordinate travel arrangements Maintain various records and documents for company executives Other additional duties as assigned from time to time, including supporting other departments and executives Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the First Union Financial brand Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly Excellent written and oral communication skills Maintain confidential and sensitive information Must have good judgement Comfortable interacting with high level executives Capable of cultivating productive working relationship across the organization Detail-oriented self-starter Resourceful, can-do attitude Work Environment The work environment characteristics here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing a typical interior/office environment.
