Job Description

Executive Assistant/Event Planner Katie Souza Ministries Marco Island, FL 34145 Job Overview We are a faith-based Christian ministry seeking a person skilled in administrative and planning skills to serve as the assistant to the CEO. This is an ONSITE organization, the person must currently reside in the Naples area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive Assistant Conserves executive’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; and initiating telecommunications. Maintains executive’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel. Travels with executive, maintaining schedule and performing personal assistant duties. Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answering or directing inquiries. Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information. Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Completes projects as assigned. Event Planner Research and locate event site Work with marketing to promote the event Oversee the product table (take inventory, manage product sales, ship unsold products). Communicate with special guests Manage speaking engagements Communicate with the host church’s coordinator. Coordinate travel and lodging with the host.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required Three to five years of administrative experience Three to five years of executive assistant experience Experience managing multiple calendars Experience booking travel
