Overview:
Welcome to the Hearing and Speech Center of Florida, an 88 year old non for profit serving individuals with educational, disability and specialized needs. We are Miami-Dade County’s not for profit provider of therapy services. We are also full service providers and offer our clients Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Educational services in collaboration with sites across the county. We also own a school which is part of our operations. We serve community programs, schools, hospitals, and many other federal & state programs in addition to our own clinic and our school. We are seeking a dedicated professional who works well in collaboration with team members. We require experience in a medical office (OR
REHABILITATION THERAPY CENTER
) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating the day-to-day operations of our organization, working in partnership with operations management of the agency. We wish for a candidate with a positive “can do” personality who is able to initiative and take pride in their work and feels comfortable problem solving daily tasks.
Duties:
- ability to support, and work with team members in full medical practice and strategically, increase service contracts.
- understand and manage credentialing, contract management, budgets, revenue management/cycle and licensing requirements for agency.
- ability to manage front and back-end processes; oversee bookkeeping for agency operations.
- understanding of verification, authorization processes, MMA insurances plans
- full comprehension of billing, coding, collections/reconciliations, payment application process
- working schedules with admin team to ensure all medical team has full schedules
- A/P, A/R, daily financial management, bank deposits
- HR management/ new employee onboarding and orientation
- comprehension of billing/coding; contractual adjustments; contract requirements
- Facilitate employee Payroll administration (work with finance team)
- comprehension and use of word, excel, PP
- Excellent organization and people skills
- Act as a direct support for CEO
- analyzing and predicting needs of the center and decisions for operations
- marketing, strategizing, and initiation of new projects for operations of agency.
- have connections with resources to move center forward in its mission
- understands and implements marketing strategies as needed for the agency programs.
- Help develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business objectives and improve profitability.
- Manage and direct the operations team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of operations with business goals.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Analyze and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting employee engagement and growth.
- Provide training and support to operations staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage and resolve operational issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management in a related industry.
