Job Description
Executive Assistant 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 1951 North Honore Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34235 Aviva Senior Living is currently seeking an Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing support to the President/CEO and Board Chairperson. Essential Functions include, but are not limited to: Calendar management. Coordination of all board meetings. Plan retreats and associated activities. Provide background material for board deliberations. Assist with committee appointments, setting agendas, scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining corporate records. Support the partnership between the President/CEO and the Board Chairperson in leading the organization. Facilitate the work of the Board Chairperson as needed.
Educational/Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. Preference for degree in business, non-profit management, or another related program. Five years’ increasingly responsible clerical/administrative experience, working with and supporting Senior Executives and Boards of Directors. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Able to demonstrate advanced working knowledge of personal computers, Internet browsing, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and routine tasks such as mail merge, sorting spreadsheets, presentations. Proven ability for accuracy and follow-through, especially in communications and documentation. High level of organization. Attention to detail is crucial. Proper grammar and dedication to correct spelling are essential. Adept at multi-tasking, flexible and patient. Capability to monitor and meet all event deadlines. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of client service. Demonstrate a positive, customer-focused approach to daily responsibilities whether interacting with senior living residents, members of the Board, senior management, or other staff members.
