EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ASSISTANT

Lafayette, LA
Description
Westaff is HIRING for an Executive Director Assistant in Lafayette, La.

Hours:

Monday-Friday
8:00am -5:00pm

Pay:

$21/Hour

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required with a preferred concentration in English, Communication, Business Administration.
Minimum of 3 years of experience providing executive-level support, preferably in public administration, nonprofit, or housing authority environments
Prior experience working with a Public Housing Authority, government agency, or nonprofit organization (preferred)
Knowledge of HUD regulations, PHA governance structure, and affordable housing programs (preferred)
Project management certification or equivalent experience (preferred)

Responsibilities:

Manage & maintain the Executive Director’s calendar, appointments, & travel arrangements.
Serve as a liaison between the Executive Director/CEO and internal staff, board members, government agencies, μnity stakeholders.
Prioritize and respond to iingmunication on behalf of the Executive Director/CEO.
Prepare πle monthly Board of Commissioners meeting packets & ensure timely distribution.
Attend all Board meetings & draft, revise, and finalize accurate ⪯hensive meeting minutes.
Track follow-up items & ensure timely responses to board directives & inquiries.
Draft, proofread, & edit correspondence, reports, presentations, & other materials.
Handle confidential & time-sensitive materials with discretion & professionalism.
Manage office records & ensure digital and paper filing systems are organized & accessible.
Monitor & order office supplies; work with vendors to secure the best pricing & terms.
Conduct background research πle data to support the Executive Director’s decision making.
Assist with the coordination of special initiatives, public events, & interdepartmental projects.
