Our client, a fast-growing and mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to driving equity and innovation in education, is searching for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support their dynamic CEO. Thanks to major backing from philanthropic leaders, they’re scaling rapidly! As the Executive Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in helping the CEO stay focused and effective through meticulous calendar management, seamless coordination, and thoughtful support. This is a hybrid (2 days onsite) role based in New Orleans and ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes, loves to create order from chaos, and takes pride in being the steady hand in a fast-changing environment. THE JOB:
Own and manage the CEO’s complex and evolving calendar across time zones Coordinate high-priority internal and external meetings, including with board members, funders, and partners Anticipate scheduling needs and resolve conflicts quickly and diplomatically Support travel arrangements, logistics, and occasional expense reporting Serve as a gatekeeper and thought partner for day-to-day scheduling and prioritization Provide ad hoc administrative support and special project assistance as needed
ABOUT YOU
You have 5+ years of experience supporting C-level executives, ideally in fast-paced, mission-driven environments You hold a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Psychology, Education, or a related field You’re a calendar wizard-organized, precise, and always three steps ahead You’re tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and confident navigating remote collaboration tools You bring strong emotional intelligence and communicate clearly, professionally, and with empathy
