Executive Assistant to the President 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars 700 University Avenue, Monroe, LA 71209 Job Summary Provides high-level administrative support to the President by effectively managing communications, scheduling events, and operational functions of the Office of the President. Serves as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders and ensures the efficient operations of executive-level activities. Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates and promotes special events, meetings, and initiatives hosted by the Office of the President, including planning logistics, managing invitations, and ensuring a professional image for the university. Assists in developing and executing internal and external communications, including newsletters, announcements, social media content, and event promotions related to the President’s Office. Collaborates with the Office of Marketing & Communications and other departments to align messaging and branding for presidential initiatives and appearances. Ensures all events reflect the professionalism, values, and image of the university and the Office of the President. Serves as a liaison between the President and key stakeholders, including university leadership, community partners, alumni, and elected officials. Coordinates event logistics for the President, including accommodations, itineraries, and follow-up correspondence. Maintains positive working relationships with university departments, foundations, and external partners to support the President’s visibility and engagement efforts. Performs other duties as assigned to support the marketing, engagement, and operational goals of the President’s Office. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Professional experience in executive-level administrative support, event planning, or related roles Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience drafting professional correspondence and event materials Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills Supplemental Information None
