Role:
Barrister is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly experienced Executive Assistant to the CEO. This role supports our CEO and Executive Leadership Team across strategic initiatives, calendar and travel management, research and reporting, social media engagement, and special projects. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and agile problem solver, with excellent judgment, time management, and communication skills, thriving in fast-paced, high- demand environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Support & Project Management
- Partner with the CEO to execute strategic initiatives aligned with company goals and WIGs (Wildly Important Goals).
- Conduct research and analysis to provide insights and recommendations.
- Lead and coordinate special projects and initiatives on behalf of the CEO.
- Prepare concise, data-driven reports on key business trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Identify and engage external experts across functions (e.g., M&A, marketing, tech). Executive & Administrative Support
- Manage complex global calendars, meetings, and scheduling priorities.
- Organize executive travel, accommodations, itineraries, and logistics for domestic and international trips.
- Prepare and submit expense reports; approve team expenses as authorized.
- Manage confidential and time-sensitive material with the highest discretion.
- Create agendas, take meeting minutes, and ensure timely follow-ups on action items. Communication & Presentation
- Draft executive-level correspondence, memorandums, and internal communications.
- Build PowerPoint presentations with high attention to detail and design, including charts and visuals.
- Proofread and copy-edit documents and reports for internal and external use.
- Support CEO in internal and external representation, including speaking engagements. Knowledge Management
- Develop and maintain systems for institutional knowledge capture and documentation.
- Structure and update content using repeatable processes and logical frameworks.
- Lead knowledge transfer efforts during organizational transitions. Social Media & Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and maintain a social media cadence for the CEO across platforms (LinkedIn, X, Facebook).
- Create and curate engaging content that aligns with company messaging.
- Interact, engage, and respond on behalf of the CEO as needed. Team Collaboration & Culture Building
- Act as liaison between the CEO and other departments, teams, and stakeholders.
- Plan and coordinate leadership off-sites, staff meetings, and social/team-building events.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting C-level executives.
- Proven ability to manage complex calendars, travel, and logistics.
- High emotional intelligence and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience working with confidential and sensitive information.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word), G- Suite, SharePoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to multitask and pivot.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and anticipate needs without being prompted.
- Familiarity with AI tools, Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, and LMS platforms.

Work Environment & Travel:
