Job Description

Assistant Branch Executive – Springhill Bonvenu Bank Springhill, LA 71075 Assists with the daily operation of the branch and assumes responsibility of the branch in absence of the branch executive. The Assistant BE will act as the security liaison between the branch and the security officer.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Comprehensive knowledge of customer service operations Good oral and written communication skills, as well as good selling skills Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an equivalent combinations of training and sales management work experience. Good leadership skills Thorough knowledge of bank policy and procedures, compliance and regulatory items and financial institution products and services

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS

Creates a world class client experience environment. Represents the financial institution to the community through good customer relations, networking, and community events. Establishes and helps to attain internal performance objectives for branch office business volume, deposits, loan portfolio referrals, treasury management referrals, line of business referrals and quality of audit reports. Ensures sales and service delivery expectations are met. Provides and maintains a professional, business-like atmosphere within the branch office. Assists with staff reviews for formal performance evaluations. Coordinates staff training when needed. Drives operational excellence by engaging in all aspects of compliance, audit, and branch policy. Ensures compliance to security procedures, Tests branch security equipment and investigates security issues when needed. Responsible for comprehensive, prompt and efficient customer transactions. Participates in and encourages lending activities indirectly: Interviews consumer loan applicants and orders credit reports. Requests specified information for consumer loan applications. Corresponds with customers, applicants, or creditors to resolve questions regarding consumer application information. Notifies consumer loan applicant of loan decision. Refers consumer and small business loan requests to assigned lending specialists/business banker. Other duties as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises branch staff.
