Position :
Executive Assistant / Accountant Akmazo Capital is a private equity firm founded by a group of New England’s most accomplished operating executives and focused on building market-leading SaaS businesses.
Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant/ Accountant with at least 5 years of experience in an accounting & administrative role primarily supporting Akmazo Capital and also providing limited support to a Family Office. This position ensures smooth day-to-day financial management, accurate reporting, and efficient office operations. The ideal candidate is professional, collaborative, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management
- Manage full-cycle accounting: bookkeeping, vendor & expense management, prepare payroll (via ADP) & benefits, banking & credit card reconciliations.
- Review monthly financial accounts and statements and variances vs budget.
- Working with a 3rd party finance firm, maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage vendors, A/P, invoices and payments thru the 3rd party finance firm. Administrative Operations & Executive Support
- Manage the office, vendor relationships, and administrative operations.
- Schedule and coordinate travel, meetings, and logistics for Partners, including Board Meetings and Investor Presentations.
- Assist with travel-related expenses and reimbursement tracking.
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Partner on special initiatives and projects.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience. Experience managing financials for small businesses or offices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word & PowerPoint.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills, including editing.
- Administratively strong. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail & time management. Able to prioritize & manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills & discretion to maintain confidentiality.

Schedule:
- 4 days / week in-person
- Unlimited, but reasonable, PTO

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$80,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
