BIG FISH

account team in the daily execution of public relations activities. This role involves administrative support, coordination of media outreach efforts, and assisting in the development of client-facing materials. The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Support:

Assist in managing daily administrative tasks for client accounts. Help prepare and organize materials for client meetings and presentations. Coordinate the scheduling of meetings, conference calls, and events.

Media Relations:

Assist in building and maintaining media lists. Support the media outreach process by drafting pitch emails and press releases. Track and compile media coverage, including press clippings and media reports.

Content Assistance:

Assist in drafting and editing press materials, such as press releases, fact sheets, and media alerts under supervision. Help with the research and development of story ideas for clients.

Research and Reporting:

Conduct research on media contacts, industry trends, and competitors. Assist in compiling and analyzing media coverage reports. Help track the effectiveness of PR campaigns and contribute to post-campaign analysis.

Administrative Support:

Maintain and update client files, media kits, media databases, and project trackers. Assist in organizing events, such as press conferences, media tours, and client events.

REQUIRED SKILLS 1

year of experience as a PR agency account coordinator. Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. Internship or volunteer experience in public relations, communications, or marketing is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
