To provide confidential, high-level administrative support in the office of the vice chancellor. To work collaboratively with other members of the department to proactively address organizational needs. To communicate with high-level management, boards, and committees as needed.

Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree with five (5) years related experience or equivalent combination of education/experience. 

Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required:

NA Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesResponsibilities Receives and responds to specialized correspondence. Reads and analyzes incoming correspondence and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.

Compiles and analyzes various types of complex information for inclusion in reports and/or presentations using graphical software, spreadsheets, and/or presentation software.

Answers telephones and resolves complex caller needs within broadly-defined guidelines and without managerial oversight.

Supervises departmental clerical staff and ensures completion of assigned tasks.

Works directly with the Vice Chancellor on special projects.

Prepares agenda and makes arrangements to include food service, room scheduling, and materials preparation.
