Job Description
West Side Presbyterian Church – Ridgewood, NJ Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm West Side is seeking a warm, organized, and experienced professional to serve as our Executive Administrative Assistant for Internal Ministries. This front-desk, full-time role provides essential support to staff, volunteers, and ministries—ensuring hospitality, smooth operations, and accurate communication throughout the life of our church.
Key responsibilities include:
Greeting visitors and answering phones with warmth and professionalism Providing administrative support to ministry teams and pastoral staff Designing flyers, newsletters, and digital signage Assisting with website updates and internal calendar management Supporting logistics for events and communications Collaborating with staff and volunteers to support West Side’s mission Welcoming visitors, managing phones, and supporting building access Handling financial data entry and database management (ShelbyNext)
Qualifications:
Prior office or church administrative experience Familiarity with WordPress, Canva, Constant Contact, Google Workspace and data base tools a plus Graphic design or content creation experience a plus Strong communication and organizational skills A heart for ministry and hospitality
